Northwood University is one of the premier collegiate Esports programs in the country. We offer a 2,000+ square foot, state-of-the-art gaming center that caters to all levels of competitive gaming. Since the creation of the program in 2019, our teams have quickly climbed the ranks and claimed multiple national titles in Rocket League and Overwatch.

Visit the Great Lakes Gaming Convention
From September 26th to September 27th, the Northwood University esports program and the Great Lakes Loons are hosting the Great Lakes Gaming Convention (GLGC) at the Dow Diamond.
Launched last year as Field of Frames Fest, the event is a first-of-its-kind festival for the Great Lakes Bay Region. Bringing a blend of esports, trading card games, and STEM opportunities, the Great Lakes Gaming Convention celebrates all things gaming.
Set in the unique atmosphere of the Dow Diamond, the event highlights the competitive atmosphere of the marquee event, the collegiate Rocket League invitational. Additional events include a high school Rocket League invitational, trading card game tournaments, and an open Smash Bros. Ultimate event.
